Geared towards Gen Y, Plentii presents financial information in a smart, direct language you can understand. Full of branded content like the Always Money show, the videos, articles, quizzes, tests, polls and blog entries are organized around the three things you do with money: EARN, SPEND & SAVE.
The brand identity uses graphic motifs from money, but with a twist. The logo personifies the term "when pigs fly" by breaking the mold of the traditional piggy bank icon. Rather than going with the exact colors of currency, we used a "slightly off" palette of teal green, mint green, turquoise and orange as the actionable color. We used intricate guilloche patterns taken from currency and used them as backgrounds throughout. The use of a photographic pig mixed with lots of crisp vector art creates a look that's fresh and different. Colorful gradients, funky 3D icons and etchings add to the "pop culture meets finance" feel.
