Digital media agency Division 13 asked us to create some character logos for their client Dreamworks. The upcoming animated film How To Train Your Dragon is a mythical story about vikings and dragons. We created a different logotype for each dragon to reflect it's personality and style. Elements like wings, horns, flames and reptilian skin were pulled from the dragons and incorporated into the dimensional type. These comps were intended to be animated signatures for an e-mail marketing campaign. The final logos for the movie have evolved into something more simple, but we like how the vibe of these turned out.
