Inspiration OOTO: Venice Beach
It’s amazing how much graphic art and inspiration you can find on one corner in a bustling city. While looking at office space yesterday, I was inspired by all the graphics around the corner of Pacific & Windward in Venice Beach, under the famous VENICE sign. Here are a few of the things that caught my eye:
The new “Touch of Venice” mural by Jonas Never, that celebrates Orson Welles 1958 film noir classic: Touch of Evil

Stickers. Most of the signage around here are plastered with stickers from bands, clothing lines, indie films, etc. You can’t read the directions anymore, but who cares?
Classic indie band wild postings on every inch of construction space.
And finally our favorite thing from that corner, the amazing Breaking Bad sneakers custom painted by The Ave Venice. They do amazing work and the fact that these are specifically from last season (nose bandage and all) makes them genius.
